First, a synopsis of the error:
You’ve just installed FlowJo and are now trying to run the application. You double-click the icon, only to see the FlowJo splash screen flash across the monitor, disappear, and then…nothing. The application somehow fails to run.
Some Windows 10 users undoubtedly have run into this unfortunate issue after installing FlowJo v10.3, our latest release. This problem is due to a critical dependency that is not installed automatically for certain systems. The issue will be fixed in our next release; nevertheless, we are aware of the inconvenience this has caused for some users, and sympathize with the natural frustration.
As a result, we are very happy to announce a workaround that fixes the problem for anyone still experiencing the error. The fix is very simple: Manually install the dependency! This dependency is called the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, which is a mouthful. After you’ve said that ten times fast, access this prerequisite package through the following links, depending on the bitness of your Windows OS:
To install the dependency, do the following:
- Follow the appropriate link above.
- Download the installer for this dependency to your computer.
- Run the installer.
- Restart your computer.
You should now be able to run the latest FlowJo without issue.

Hi!
I just started using widnows 10. Installing and using flowjo was no problem. However, I am having problems with copying my tables.
I generate a batched table, and from here on I am used to go to Edit - Copy table to Clipboard, and then I just paste it in an excel sheet. Now however, I get an error message and nothing is copied.
I tried to export as a excel file (=saving directly a new excel), but then all the % signs are included.....
