Known Issues
Scrolling list disappear on windows with java 7 installed

Sorting in find/replaces is removing the list of values
Font settings, graph type, multi level overlays do not work with undo in the layout editor
Transformation is not changing with matrix application
Heatmap does not output to the layout editor or 3rd party application
Freq of... is not working in the quick statistics drop down
Refresh issues with batching backgating and histogram overlays y axis scaling
Not able to scale table with many columns to page when printing
Avoid page breaks does not work with multiple plots
Print margin and padding issues
Preference for histogram scaling is not working
Overlaying with transforms is not using base layer nor is is normalized to the biggest layer
Header/footers not working on PDF
Lock content does not work with text boxes
SVG does not produce a re scalable graphic
Layout editor saving issues when loading JO and WSP from 765
Setting wrong size gate with Accuri data in compensation
Unstained overlaps size gate in compensation
When I'm editing the compensation matrix and I want to overlay uncompensated in dot plot view, it says "no population" in ea window

I couldn't reproduce that bug just from the info you gave me, Kinga. When I check "overlay uncompensated" and change the comp values, I get updates to both black dot (comp) and cyan dots (uncomp). THe issue you are describing may have specific steps, or data, behind reproducing it.

I was wondering, will future updates of FlowJo for the windows/mac vs 10.x.x be able to open previous vs of the win/mac FJ 10.x.x workspaces successfully? For example, can I open a workspace created in FJ vs 10.0.4 or 10.0.5 with FJ vs 10.0.6 without any issues? If there are issues, is there or will there be a workaround or is the only work around by creating a new workspace in the new version of FlowJo?
Thank you.

Yes, while we had one issue specific to opening certain compensated workspaces in 10.0.5, our goal is to open all workspaces from all versions in the forward direction.

I am having some problem with the dongle I am using in my institute right now and would like to join testing the beta version. I have tried older beta versions before but I don't know why I cannot complete the license verification step as previous.
Can you help?
Thanks a lot.

I'm using Flowjo V10.0.6b7 on Mac OS.X7.5 to analyse data from a FacsAria.
When changing the data scaling to log, the plots create strange dotted lines as part of the sample. (I cannot load an example plot here to show you!) How can I solve this please?
Thank you.

@ Rita,
try contacting our technical support @ 800 366 6045 or flowjo@treestar.com. The beta does not address any specific dongle related issues.
@ Eva,
it sounds like you're describing picket fencing , which occurs on log scale where there are fewer pixels on the plot than detectors in the range being represented. Try sending in your files to our tech support to make sure (same email as above.)

Thank you for the quick response. It is indeed 'picket fencing' that I see.
I have two more questions:
1. Is it possible to change the layout from the histograms generated by the Population Comparison tool?
You can simply drag and drop the Comparison from the Workspace to the Layout editor, nicly displaying the table and histograms. You can even ungroup the table/histograms, but I can't find out how to edit the histograms seperately. Moreover, the axis annotations seem to disappear in the Layout editor.
2. In the Table editor, the table generator 'To File - (XML) Excel' unfortunately, does not seem to work?
To circumvent this, I just generate the table in the Table editor and copy/paste it into excel. Sadly, the table headings (columns) are then not transferred.
I did find a way tho circumvent this also... but it is all not time and work friendly.
Thank you.

I have problems using the spider gates. When I create a spider gate and then customize one of the axis you can see that the outer boarder of the gate is not including all events and can't be moved. Also the the adjustment of the spider gate looks a bit buggy for me. Did anybody else observe problems like this?

@ Eva,
re 1, we did not really consider that. I will add it to the list.
re 2, it works for me, perhaps this is a bug in 10.0.5 but fixed in 10.0.6.
@ Sebastian, I'm assuming that when you say customize axis that means via the T button? if so, do the range adjustment before you gate. Gates, when created, capture the range of their parent parameter(s). We don't support re-ranging existing gates.. thought I see it as reasonable to set bounds as infinity or neg-finity in the context of quads. will look into it.

re 1 - It would be amazing if the histograms were editable.
re 2 - I am using Flowjo V10.0.6b7...
Thanks

Hi there,
I'm getting the "cannot determine the hardware address error" when I try to run 10.0.06. I've been unable to run any v10 release for the same reason. With 10.0.06 I get an additional error message stating "The flowjo engine library (dll/jnilib) did not load". I've seen your previous post regarding manually installing visual C++ libs, but it doesn't help. I've emailed tech support a couple of times but haven't had any response, any advice would be very welcome!
Many thanks,
Will
