if you see this error during FlowJo startup, it is likely a required 3rd party library was not installed on your computer. We package this library into the flowjo installer, but tech support informs me that due to security settings in some institutions, the sub-installers "don't run".
If you experience this, the workaround is to manually install visual C++ libs from microsoft, you will likely need administrator access to install this - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
Is there a similar solution for the Mac version?

This also happens in the Linux version for me. The version i'm using is 10.0.5 and the screenshot looks exactly as it does in the posted image.

we're looking into 10.0.5 linux version right now. Meanwhile I think 10.0.4 still works - http://offsite.treestar.com/downloads/10.0.4/V10_Linux.tar.gz

The link you provide is for a 64 bit version. Is there a 32 bit equivalent?

After installing the library listed above, it says "engine library (dII/jnilib) did not load"
