gearing towards 7.6.4 release, here is a first FJ command line tutorial: how to convert a folder(s) full of FCS files into a bunch of formatted images.
Download Cli (zip file, 50ish MB)
what to do:
- unzip to c:\ (top level) such that it creates c:\cli\start.bat etc.
- if you cannot use the path c:\cli becuase of admin/privs type stuff, extract to another path and edit (notepad.exe) the templates' outputLocation attribute as per #3 in the readme.txt file.
- edit (notepad.exe) the start.bat file to specify the full location to your fj 7.6.4 executable file.
- use the appropriate installer (32 or 64 bit) of FJ 7.6.4, and make sure you have the matching 32/64 bit java 6 b24.
- double-click start.bat - flowjo should start popping windows up and down for a few minutes.
outputs get created inside the cli folder as 3 HTML files and a folder of images. You can browse them either by double-clicking the html files or going into the FlowJo_Web_files with picasa, etc.
