Wondering what happened to 8.x?
This is not a trick, there is no more 8.x's, we're making the new Mac version going to have an odd version number instead of the usual even ones.
So the good news is we're not putting the mac version development to a moratorium!
The bad news is this will be a paid upgrade, unless you are on a site license, or purchased your dongle within a year of when V9 ships.
Maciej,
When I download the new beta(s), I get a folder with two files in it: I can open the 8.9b13 version, but the 9.0b14 version is damaged and the icon even has a circle with a line through it on top of the generic application icon.

- me too, I can't seem to open the 9.0b14 version; the icon doesn't seem familiar. michelle

I lied.
I can't open the 8.9b13 version, either.
By the way, here's the size of the files:
8.9b13: 17 MB
9.0b14: 1.3 MB

I will try to re-post it along with a mirror this time. We've had this problem before - it sounds like the download is prematurely finished. This is an intermittent network issue.

I re-posted the file. When you download the zip file, it should be 5,995,276 in size (rightclick/ get info in Finder)

I'd love a list of what's new in 9.0b14. The one very welcome thing that I stumbled upon this morning is that you can now remove a biexponential transformation!
And, you'll be happy to know that I've been using it all morning and it hasn't crashed yet.
