wanted - application scientist (ashland, OR)

I'm looking to expand our support team and am looking for applicants effective immediately. We need an application scientist to handle support and training of users in FlowJo.

The desired applicant should have the following qualities:
- willing to relocate to Ashland, Oregon
- excellent communicator, quick learner and proficient organizer.
- team player, self-driven and motivated.
- Savvy in both Mac and PC computers
- 2 years experience in any flow cytometry oriented field, such as lab tech, instrument QA, reagent specialist.. etc.
- BS (or better !) in biology or biophysical sciences is required

The job entails:
- handling a shared volume of incomming support ranging from 20 to 120 per day
- filing and organizing emails and phone records
- recognizing common threads to spot new problems vs. known and FAQ ones.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate to experience.
